I feel like I should say something profound here, but there’s not really anything unique that I can say. I would like to think that my perspectives might be insightful, useful, or amusing (maybe all three from time to time), but I will be surprised if anyone actually reads this outside of a small circle of friends.
There was a time I used to think I was unique: a kid who liked to run around with a camera and maybe enough of a technical inclination to succeed at engineering. However, years ago at a college interview I met my physical and spiritual doppelgänger. We were both pursuing an engineering degree with a background in film and television. We were even wearing similar blue polos.
Nearly a decade since, I’ve tried to cultivate my life to feature a broad range of people and perspectives. I ain’t perfect. I’m not “where I want to be” yet, but maybe this blog will help me channel my thoughts along the way as I grow. (Hopefully into a more empathic and driven person than I am today.) Picture’s up.
